Chanel Toson, LPC started Creative Touch Counseling Center, LLC in 2020 and found office space at Wall Street Conyers, just 10 minutes from her home. Since then, she has doubled her space, moving from one office space in the 2365 building to two offices in the 2375 building. She has also taken on two student counseling interns and likes the training component of working with interns. She is also enjoying seeing her growing client base.
“It’s exciting to see the growth of the center in just two years,” said Toson. “Wall Street Conyers is a great location with easy access to the highway. Working with Cindy (Jones) at Wall Street is a joy. She was a great help when I moved into my first space, and when I was ready to grow, she helped with the transitions and made my moves seem easy and effortless. My neighbors in the building are quiet and respectful, and I’m so glad to be a part of Wall Street Conyers.”
Creative Touch Counseling Center offers both virtual and in-person sessions, with a majority of Toson’s focus on helping clients cope with anxiety related issues, grief and loss, and depression. She and her interns work with all ages and facilitate goal achievement through a diverse evidenced-based approach to treatment. Toson also offers virtual and in-person workshops on topics including goal setting for youth and children, dealing with loss, and learning coping skills for managing anxiety.
Toson is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Grief Counseling Specialist, Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor, and working towards becoming a Registered Play Therapist.
