5 Tips for Creating a Modern Office Space

2. Stand Up to Sitting! – Sitting is the new smoking. Studies show sitting can be just as bad as for your health as smoking. 4. Cater to Different Working Styles – Not everyone works the same way. If you have an open concept space already, consider adding private rooms for people who need to concentrate or have a meeting. If you currently are using cubicles, designate a space for people who are looking to collaborate.

5. Start Having Some Fun – Happier and healthier employees are more productive employees. Many modern office spaces have entertainment items like ping pong or foosball tables. Blowing off a bit of steam is never a bad thing and having fun at work is a great way to build relationships and get conversations started among the staff.
