The Lumberyard Office Lofts is a creative agency’s dream. This office complex houses many local businesses including advertisers, promoters, architects and designers including Melissa Libby & Associates, a PR firm that specializes in the restaurants and food industry. The Lumberyard consists of trendy offices designed and built into an old converted sawmill located at 1425 Ellsworth Industrial Boulevard NW in Atlanta Georgia. It is a great example of an adaptive reuse project and is a model of sustainability.
On May 3rd and 4th, our neighbors hosted The Next Cool Event, which was a Gala celebrating the last 40 years of the Atlanta Film Industry. The two-day event included exhibits showcasing films and TV shows in the Georgia area. EpiCity staff members were invited to attend Saturday activities at this exclusive event.
Earlier in the week our friends and neighbors down the street at Daltile hosted a Casino Night that included Dueling Pianos, prizes and a dinner. Daltile is located directly next to The Lumberyard Office Lofts and shares our parking lot for fun events such as these.
Hands down, if you were to ask one of our Community Members what is their favorite part of belonging to The Lumberyard, the most likely answer will be The Bone Garden Cantina. This amazing Mexican Restaurant is located right in The Lumberyard and is a popular spot to eat in the surrounding area. Sunday, May 5th, was Cinco de Mayo and The Bone Garden Cantina was the place to be. Cinco de Mayo is one of the busiest days of the year for them and this year did not disappoint. The restaurant was filled with hungry patrons ready to celebrate.
