Raymond Robinson has served in the financial services industry for over 27 years. He started his first business, Raymond Robinson Group, in 2010, which focused on insurance. Prior to the pandemic, Raymond moved his office to 2375 Wall Street Conyers, and in 2023, he established Pathlight Advisers. At Pathlight Advisers, he is the owner and managing director for a group of like-minded financial advisers, located throughout the country, who help people build a better retirement plan, including tax solutions, asset management, and risk mitigation. In all, there are 150 agents and advisers throughout the U.S.
“The shift in my business model to start Pathlight Advisers was to reach a broader audience and focus more on the bigger picture of retirement planning,” said Raymond. “My clients are growing older, as we all are, and there was a need I wanted to fill to help impact people’s lives and future generations by fostering financial confidence and long-term financial independence.”
A resident of Conyers, the location of Wall Street Conyers was a great fit for him. He moved there from a building adjacent to the office condominiums in the late 2010s. He likes that he was able to modernize his office space, his rent is reasonable, it has a professional atmosphere, and it is convenient for his clients.
In addition to his full-service firm, Raymond started a non-profit, Pathlight Solutions, which sponsors business symposiums, workshops, programs, and teaches financial literacy. Its mission illuminates pathways to financial confidence and community growth by empowering individuals through education, entrepreneurship, and lifelong learning opportunities that inspire economic independence and sustainable futures.
Raymond currently holds his Series 65 license, his life insurance and long-term care insurance licenses, and a Registered Social Security Analyst® (RSSA®) designation. He is also a member of the Million Dollar Round Table and is an active contributor to Kiwanis International. He and his wife have a blended family (think Brady Bunch!) with four children, ranging from 13 to 29 years old.
