Epic Partners has been creating wealth for our partners through real estate since 1935. As our principals continue to develop new opportunities around the greater Atlanta area, we are searching for the right partners who share our investing goals and vision.
Epic Partners currently manages a portfolio of twenty-three diversified commercial income producing real estate assets and is working on numerous residential developments. Atlanta is ripe with opportunities in the commercial and residential real estate markets.
As part of the recent tax reform legislation, Congress created a new program to incentivize private investment in certain low-income communities. The program allows taxpayers to defer and reduce the recognition of capital gain if the taxpayer reinvests all or a portion of the capital gain proceeds in a “Qualified Opportunity Fund”.
The Epic Community Impact Fund, LLC, an affiliate of Epic Partners, is a certified Community Development Entity (CDE) with the Department of Treasury’s Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) Fund that provide debt and/or equity investment for real estate projects and small businesses development located in low-to-moderate income communities throughout metro Atlanta.
Through the Epic Community Impact Fund, we have created theEpic Opportunity Zone Fund, LP, and the Epic Minority Developer Impact Initiative.
“We are proud to partner with financial institutions, government agencies, community organizations, foundations, and individual investors who share our passion for community development in underserved communities,” said Tom Stokes, President of EpiCity.
Recently the Epic Community Impact Fund held an event centered around the new Opportunity Zones Fund investing, and it was well received. Gina Negron of Keller Williams, Residential Real Estate Consulting, attended the event and continues to stay in touch about opportunities. “All aspects of the initiative are diverse,” said Gina. “Investors want to make the community better – better residential, retail and commercial real estate – and keep it affordable.”
