Comprehensive Technical Group (CTG) Expands Space at Powers Ferry Business Park

Comprehensive Technical Group specializes in professional broadcast and audio/visual solutions, building and testing systems for corporate clients, such as Coca-Cola, and sports arenas throughout the U.S. Its 8,000 square feet space at Powers Ferry Business Park, managed by EpiCity, has served as their office space, workshop and conference room for six years. Recently, the company landed a very large project and needed more space. Luckily, EpiCity had the solution, with 5,000 square feet right next door.

“We made the space commitment with EpiCity and worked in the additional space immediately ‘as is’ for this project,” said Jim Wile, owner and president of CTG. “The next step is for EpiCity’s talented design and build team to come in and create the new space as an extension of our space, even designing a pass-through hallway that connects both spaces.”

It happened quickly, as CTG needed the space and moved in over a weekend. According to Jim, there will be a couple of weeks of break in their schedule in early December so that EpiCity’s construction team can build out the space, with offices and a conference room, leaving much of the space to build the systems, and allowing them to build multiple jobs at one time.

Not only was EpiCity helpful in providing a solution to CTG’s space needs, Jim says Powers Ferry Business Park and working with EpiCIty is “by far the best relationship we’ve had with a management company. We’ve been in two other flex park locations and we’ve had struggles. Working with EpiCity is great!”

Jim describes Powers Ferry Business Park as “flex space plus.” The park offers very nice offices and well-maintained grounds. “We are fortunate to have high end customers and work on large projects,” said Jim. “We are proud to bring customers here. The park has all the necessary roll up doors, warehousing and technical space, and it’s also very attractive – inside and out. It’s unique and a good fit for us.”

The amenities that Powers Ferry Business Park provides have been powerful to CTG as well. “The community offers a meeting space, with classrooms, projectors and WiFi, and we take advantage of that all of the time,” said Jim.
